PRESENTATION
Arte Jucá is a cultural institution in the Sertão dos Inhamuns, based in Arneiroz, with 22 years of experience. Among its main actions are the Festival dos Inhamuns de Artes Cênicas, moving towards its 15th edition, and the Escola Livre de Teatro dos Inhamuns – ELTI, with centers of activity in the cities of Arneiroz and Tauá. As a scenic group, it has twelve shows in its curriculum and passage through festivals inside and outside the country. It is a certified Ponto de Cultura, part of the Cultura Viva network, and was awarded twice (2006 and 2008) with the Ceará Vida Melhor Award, granted by the state government to institutions with relevant services provided in the social area.
HISTORIC
Arte Jucá started its activities in May 2000, with the objective of producing scenic shows and acting as an art/educator collective in the Sertão dos Inhamuns. In 2002, after an aesthetic and administrative residency with Grupo Galpão de Minas Gerais, it becomes a legally constituted institution: Associação dos Amigos da Arte, Ciência e Cultura de Arneiroz; starting to develop activities of creation, production, dissemination and artistic training in the areas of theater, dance, music, plastic arts, literature and audiovisual.

Its projects have already been contemplated by several STATE notices: Incentive to the Arts, Childhood Culture, Living Culture, Maecenas; AND NATIONAL: Funarte for Supporting Festivals, BNB de Cultura, Caixa Cultural, among others.
Participation in festivals
As a scenic company (Grupo Juká de Teatro), its shows have already been featured in festivals of recognized relevance such as FNT - Guaramiranga (CE), Mostra SESC Cariri (CE), Mostra Palco Giratório (CE), Popular Theater Festival (CE) Mostra Lino Rojas (SP), Recife Popular Festival (PE), São Miguel Paulista Street Theater Festival (SP), Teresópolis International Street Theater Festival (RJ), Tangolomango Festival (Bogotá - Colombia).
